THE CORNISH PILGRIMAGE

Based on ancient and modern routes the Cornish Pilgrimage heralds the coming of a new age for travellers keen to explore Cornwall and support a very worthy cause in the process. The journey examines much of Cornwall's heritage along a series of coast-to-coast routes from top to bottom of the kingdom. Passports have been created to encourage all-comers to participate in any chosen part of the Pilgrimage, which we hope will make a considerable income for Cornwall Hospice Care. All proceeds of the Passports, costing £5 each, will go to St Julia's and Mount Edgcumbe Hospices. A free A5 download colour book is available for information regarding the Pilgrimage. Click on the attachment featured in OUTLETS on the home page, or with the next newsletter (Summer Season/ Walk).

A CRICKET SEASON OF WALKING FOR CHARITY

Beyond the spring lies another great challenge of walking the country (England, Ireland and Wales to be precise). The journey through England will be supported by England's Barmy Army who will help raise £100,000 for A CHANCE TO SHINE - Youth Cricket Development, and CANCER RESEARCH UK. A continuation of the journey through Ireland will be in support of Cancer Charities: it will also see Robin Moore complete his portfolio of the British Isles which covers walks around, end-to-end, and coast-to-coast of the region (over 12,000 miles in all).

For information about this walk and a A CHANCE TO SHINE click on: www.barmy-army.com

The last part of the journey through the West Country will be dedicated to Cornwall Hospice Care and a thousand donation envelopes will be delivered by Robin throughout the region.
